After sneaker enthusiasts across the world cast hundreds of thousands of votes, the winners of the 2018 Nike: On Air contest have been revealed.

The sneaker design program asked people around the world to design their own Air Max, inspired by the “unique cultural fingerprint” of their city and community. The submissions were then judged by a panel of Nike designers and city ambassadors, whittling down the thousands of submissions to just 18 (3 from each city) which were then voted upon by the public to choose a final six. Now, those winning designers will have their visions turned into a real-life shoe.

London’s winning Air Max 97, called the “London Summer of Love” was conceived by Jasmine Lasode, a visual artist who moved to London to explore her creativity. Her Air Max 97 design draws inspiration from a cherished memory – a first date spent on Primrose Hill – and celebrates love and summer in the city, a good vibe that everyone can relate to.

More information on each of the winning designs and creators can be found at Nike: On Air.
