  • I live and work in Vancouver, Canada and have been taking pictures for a little more than ten years. These photos are from 2001 to 2005. It's nice for me to look at them now that that time in my life is far enough away. I was putting so much effort into thinking about photography, but as the work moves further into the past what I see instead are all the personal things I didn't understand and couldn't get any perspective on to learn from. When I started to grow out of that time I thought I would never take pictures like them again, but now I realise I never could.
