Isreal born Nadav Kander moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, with his parents aged just three-years-old. It was here, at thirteen, that he picked up his first camera, and here that he decided he wanted to be a professional photographer after serving his two-years compulsory National Service in an Air Force darkroom. As soon as cleared out of the Air Force he moved to London and followed his dream while squatting two streets from where he resides now. He has since become a world-renowned photographer and has shot for a plethora of big name brands and magazines. The personal series below, "Yantze, The Long River", is a documentary of the people (one in every eighteen on the planet - more than the entire USA) who live on its banks and their surrounding landscapes.
