Last night saw the re-launch party of the British Journal of Photography magazine at the Photographers' Gallery in London. The BJP is the longest running weekly photographic magazine in the world, having released 7774 issues since 1854 (no, I didn't mistakenly hit the ?8? button instead of ?9?). BJP?s content has always been mind-blowingly interesting but the paper quality used to be an issue: the heavy inks needed for photos to print nicely are a no-go on their thin paper. However, I'm pleased to announce that, after 156 years, the BJP have finally sorted that out. Not only is the magazine now looking great, they are producing better content than ever. Head over to their website for more details.
