A new trailer for The Coen Brothers’ Netflix film “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”

In the lead up to its release on 16 November, Netflix has shared a second trailer for its new Western directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

Named The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, it stars Tim Blake Nelson in the lead role alongside Tyne Daly, James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, Liam Neeson, Tom Waits, Willie Watson and many more.

The film takes the form of six anthologies, each presenting a different story from the wild frontier. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs tells the story of a sharp-shooting songster, while Near Algodones is about a wannabe bank robber gets his due and then some. Meal Ticket is a gothic tale about two weary travelling performers, All Gold Canyon is a story about a prospector mining for gold, and The Gal Who Got Rattled is about a woman who finds an unexpected promise of loveFinally, The Mortal Remains follows a Lady as she “rains judgment upon a motley crew of strangers undertaking a final carriage ride.”

Select theatres will be showing the film from 8 November and it will be available to stream on Netflix from 16 November.
