Apple releases funny nature documentary-style advert for WWDC

Apple has released a funny four-minute ad for its annual WWDC conference, pitched in the style of a “Blue Planet” style nature documentary with David Attenborough-style narration.

“Northern California’s Bay Area – here is the stage for a truly remarkable natural occurrence. Every year, a great migration is made by one of the world’s most mysterious species,” says the narrator. “To reach this utopian destination, these unique mammals will instinctively embark on a nomadic journey from all corners of the world. This is the Developus Triceraptus. Or, as it’s more commonly known, the Developer.”

WWDC runs from 4 June to 8 June 2018.
