As all major car manufacturers prepare to enter the EV market, Aston Martin has just released a few enticing details about an upcoming electric sports car called the Rapide E.
Set to be produced in a limited run of just 155, the car will be able to produce up to 600-horsepower and 950Nm of torque with a 800-volt battery system. Aston Martin also claims it will have a range of over 200-miles, a top speed of 155 mph, and a 0-60 mph time of under 4-seconds, which is all the more impressive when Aston Martin adds it will be able to do this at a majority of battery states, not just when it’s fully charged.
Of course all this, plus the Aston Martin badge and luxury interior, is going to set you back a pretty penny. An exact price hasn’t been revealed yet, but with release of the car set for the end of 2019 there should be some news on that soon… Stay tuned.
