Straight off their recent collaboration with Timex, Carhartt WIP have teamed up with Trojan Records to celebrate the UK-based label’s 50th anniversary.
Founded in 1968, Trojan Records has become famous worldwide for its dedication to ska, reggae and dub music. Taking its name from the so-called “Trojan Truck,” which was the sound system used in Jamaica by the seminal DJ and producer Duke Reid, the label has also released music by the likes of Tony Tribe, Lee Perry’s Upset- ters, Bob and Marcia, and Desmond Dekker.
The capsule collection, which has been produced partly in collaboration with Boot Boyz, a Chicago-based merchandise collective, includes t-shirts through to long-sleeves and accessories, each featuring heavy graphics from the Trojan Records archive.
The Carhartt WIP x Trojan Records collaboration is available now from HUH. Store both online and in-store.
