Crocs, a comfortable footwear brand that has enjoyed a fair bit of success despite its hideous designs, has just unveiled a brand new high-heeled version of its iconic clogs.
While its initial designs focused on functionality over aesthetics, and have been widely adopted by chefs, doctors, dentists and anyone else who spends a lot of time on their feet, this high-heeled version doesn’t seem to appeal to any particular market. Inexplicably, however, the $55 is reportedly flying off the shelves.
Perhaps its successful collaborations with high-end brands like Balenciaga are responsible and the brand has officially become desirable (if only in a tongue-in-cheek way). Leave your thoughts in the comments.
