David Byrne announces huge UK and Ireland tour

Talking Heads icon David Byrne has just announced he will be embarking on a huge arena tour of the UK and Ireland in support of his new album American Utopia.

Kicking off this month, the tour has now been extended and will continue through to October and November, with Byrne finishing up at Manchester Arena. New dates also include shows in Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin, Birmingham, Cardiff, London, and Brighton.

“We’ll be doing some new songs, and many others that will, I assume, be familiar,” said Byrne. “I’m excited. This is the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense, so fingers crossed.”

The full list of shows is below and tickets for the newly announced October and November dates will be available from 12pm on 18 June.
