Having already launched in the Netherlands as a free pilot trial, it’s been revealed that Disney’s streaming service Disney+ is due to launch in the UK on 31 March 2020.
The date is four months after it will be launched in the US (12 November), but its wider March launch will also include European countries such as Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
The announcement was made by yesterday by Disney CEO Bob Iger during an earnings call, but he failed to mention what it would be priced at for the UK market.
In the US it currently costs $6.99 and in the Netherlands it will be €6.99 per month once the free trial ends. That means we can probably expect it to be around the £6.99 mark.
