Director Edgar Wright, who made a name for himself with the “Three Flavours Conetto trilogy” (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End) and has since gone on helm Hollywood hits such as Baby Driver, has revealed his latest work will be a “psychological horror” set in London.

The film will reportedly be inspired by classics such as Don’t Look Now and Repulsion and will feature a female lead. While speaking to Empire, he also unveiled he has been working on the script with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (Penny Dreaful).

“I realised I had never made a film about central London – specifically Soho, somewhere I’ve spent a huge amount of time in the last 25 years,” he said.

Production is rumoured to be beginning this summer and will apparently wrap up before he begins shooting the Baby Driver sequel. Stay tuned for further info!
