In an effort to help small businesses and boost the economy, Facebook has announced a new $100 million USD grant program.

The fund will be available to up to 30,000 businesses (equating to $3,333 each) across 30 countries. The $100m will be spread across both cash grants and ad spend credits.

“We know that your business may be experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of COVID-19. We’ve heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so we are offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help during this challenging time,” reads the blog post from founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Facebook will begin accepting applications in the coming weeks and you can sign up for updates here.
