Netflix has teamed up with director David M. Rosenthal for How It Ends, an apocalyptic thriller starring Theo James and Forest Whitaker.
James stars as a man visiting his in-laws on the other side of the country when out of nowhere a mysterious apocalyptic event “causes the spread of misinformation and violence”. The man “and his estranged father-in-law race across a chaotic and fractured country to save his pregnant wife.”
The film is Netflix’s second foray into big budget Hollywood-style films, the first being Bright, which was widely slammed by critics but gained good reviews from audiences.
How It Ends will be on Netflix from 13 July.
