It’s been reported that Daniel Craig will get behind the wheel of Aston Martin’s latest £250,000 all-electric car in the next James Bond instalment.
The Rapide E will be one of just 155 electric cars built by the iconic British manufacturer and was apparently chosen by director Cary Joji Fukunaga.
“This is something Cary pushed for and Daniel and the producers are going along with. Everybody is afraid of Bond getting labelled ‘too PC’ but they all felt the time was right to put him in a zero-emission vehicle,” said the source.
The car boasts an impressive 600 horsepower, is virtually silent, and can hit 0-62 mph in under 4 seconds, making it an ideal choice for the international spy.
Shooting on the new film is expected to start in April 2019.
