In a world where camera manufacturers are facing increased pressure from the capabilities of smartphones, Leica are standing strong by setting themselves above the rest with a a durable build, an even stronger reputation, and innovative new features such as OLED technology.
With that in mind, the all new Q2 compact camera is exactly what you’d expect from Leica, featuring a newly developed 47.3 megapixel full frame sensor, a Summilux 28 mm f/1.7 ASPH prime lens, and a design that makes the camera timeless yet instantly recognisable. It also boasts a 3.68 MP OLED viewfinder and is capable of shooting 4K video (up to 3840 x 2160 pixels) at up to 50,000 ISO and 30 or 24 fps.
What’s more, this little compact has been coated with a special weather resistant sealant, making it the only camera in its class to withstand outside elements such as water and dust.
Of course, another thing that sets Leica apart from the rest is the price tag – the Q2 comes in at a rather eye-watering £4,250.
