New from director Harmony Korine (Gummo, Spring Breakers, Kids) comes The Beach Bum – “a subversive new comedy” starring Matthew McConaughey in the leadrole as rebellious rogue Moondog.
Not a huge deal is revealed in this one minute long snippet, but the synopsis tells us we’ll follow the “hilarious misadventures of Moondog” as he lives life by his own rules. VICE Studios also have a hand in it, which gives you a good idea of what you’re in for. Co-stars include Snoop Dog, Zac Efron, and Isla Fisher and release is set for 22 March 2019.
