In the latest episode of James Corden’s hugely popular segment Carpool Karaoke, which features on his equally popular show The Late Late Show with James Corden, ex-Beatle member Paul McCartney managed to bring the host to tears while singing “Let It Be”.
Driving around Liverpool, the pair took a trip down memory lane, stopping off at St. Barnabas church (where McCartney sang in the church choir), Penny Lane, and visiting McCartney’s childhood home. Other singalongs along the way include “Hey Jude”, “Drive My Car” and “Love Me Do”.
“That’s great man, I tell you that’s the power of music,” says McCartney as Corden wipes away the tears. “It’s weird isn’t it, how that can do that to you.”
