The prominence of VFX in virtually all blockbuster films these days makes it easy to forget just how different an actor’s job is from a few years ago. In a lot of major scenes, they’ll be required to act around prosthetics and green screens, giving them precious little to react to and making their job significantly harder.
In this new clip, we see what the ending to Colin Trevorrow‘s 2015 Jurassic World was like for Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard while on set. Often, they’re just looking into blank space, while for a close up scene we see a man’s hand poke in with a prosthetic dinosaur’s head attached. It certainly makes you see the quality of their acting in a different light.
